Position: Volunteer Faculty of Practice STEM Coach 

Organization: Data Is My Happy Space, LLC 

Time Commitment: 2-4 hours per week 

Overview 

Data Is My Happy Space, LLC is a dynamic organization dedicated to fostering the success of recent STEM graduates. We are seeking passionate and experienced professionals to serve as STEM Coaches, providing career coaching and mentorship to help graduates secure rewarding positions in the STEM industry. 

Responsibilities 

As a STEM Faculty of Practice, you will: 

● Provide one-on-one coaching sessions to recent STEM graduates to support their job search and career development. 

● Assist mentees in identifying career goals, crafting compelling resumes, and preparing for interviews. 

● Share insights into industry trends, workplace culture, and career pathways in STEM fields. 

● Offer guidance on networking strategies and building a professional brand.

● Maintain open communication and a supportive environment to empower graduates to achieve their goals. 

Qualifications 

To succeed in this role, you must: 

● Hold a degree in a STEM field (e.g., Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).

● Have professional experience in the STEM industry (2+ years preferred).

● Possess strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills. 

● Be enthusiastic about supporting recent graduates and sharing industry knowledge.

● Commit to volunteering 5-8 hours per week, including scheduling sessions and providing follow-up support as needed.
